1975 Lincoln continental
Here's a side project ive been working on for abit now, decided to use the 1975 Lincon Continental for some more hardsurface modeling studies that ended up becoming more of its own thing over time. Went with a high to lowpoly workflow for this project using marmorset toolbag as a baking source, and designer/painter for materials based on the refrences I used, My plan is to make a Blogpost further breaking this vehicle down soon.
Reason why I went for this make and model of car was because I liked the style of vehicles, it always reminded me of the 1980-2000s era of crime family/ organized crime movies like Carlitos way, Ghost Dog, American Gangster, kings of newyork etc and wanted to explore why vehicles like this and others were so iconic. Started to notice diffrences between the continental and other vehicles like the 80's Elcamino series, Buick Grand national, 76-80 Cadillac Eldorado where at first glance they look somewhat similar to a non car person vs a car enthusiasts start to realize they have their own unique traits, history and reasonings as to why each car looks diffrent from one another (or why they have similar traits too).
